Modern Retreat Hybrid Collection

Modern Retreat Buildings

Modern Retreat Hybrid Collection

Start with one of MRB’s manufacturer-reviewed timber residential platforms, then coordinate the property with a purpose-built steel garage, workshop, RV building, barn or equestrian structure, aircraft hangar, or other compatible steel application.

Two building systems. One coordinated property. The timber residence and steel building remain separately engineered and quoted unless final written project documents expressly combine a component. Site work, foundations, erection/installation, permits, utilities, MEP systems, finishes, and any breezeway or connector are separate unless expressly included.

Step 1 — Choose the residence

MRB Timber Residential Platforms

Hybrid Ranch and Hybrid Ranch II are the current supplier-priced residential anchors for the Hybrid Collection. Both are designed to function as complete standalone homes before any steel building is coordinated.

Conceptual Hybrid Ranch single-story timber residence with coordinated steel garage

Supplier-priced residential platform

Hybrid Ranch

Single-story, four-bedroom / two-bath MRB timber residence. The current written package quote identifies an approximately 3,099 sq. ft. residence footprint, 95-inch sidewalls, and 4:12 / 1.5:12 roof pitches. Interior room arrangement, porch layout, connector strategy, and coordinated steel-building scope are refined during project review.

Hybrid Ranch — Residence + Configurable Steel Shop

Hybrid Ranch furnished planning concept showing timber residence, covered connector, and configurable steel shop

Current residential-package reference: approximately 3,099 sq. ft. footprint, single-story four-bedroom / two-bath configuration, 95-inch sidewalls, 4:12 main roof pitch, and 1.5:12 secondary roof pitch. The furnished room arrangement, 40 × 60 steel shop shown, garage-door sizes, and covered connector are conceptual planning directions. The steel building and connector are separately configured, engineered, and quoted for the property unless the final written project documents state otherwise.

Step 2 — Choose the steel application

Configure the Steel Side of the Property

The steel structure is sized and quoted to the property, intended use, openings, clearances, environmental loads, access, and local requirements. These are configuration paths—not separate house models.

Representative steel garage configuration

Garage

Vehicle storage, estate garage, hobby space, or expanded property utility.

Representative steel workshop configuration

Workshop

Equipment, automotive, fabrication, storage, business, agricultural, or hobby use.

Representative clear-span steel configuration for RV or large vehicles

RV / Oversized Vehicle

Door height, clearances, turning access, vehicle dimensions, and storage needs drive the configuration.

Representative steel barn or equestrian framing configuration

Barn / Equestrian

Ranch, horse-property, agricultural, equipment, storage, or mixed-use applications.

Representative clear-span steel aircraft hangar configuration

Aircraft Hangar

Clear span, aircraft dimensions, hangar door system, access, and local airport requirements are reviewed per project.

Step 3 — Coordinate the property

Bring the timber and steel scopes together

We review the residence package, steel-building use, connection strategy, project location, site access, foundation approach, openings, engineering requirements, contractor plan, and delivery logistics before the final project quote is established.
