Modern Retreat Buildings is an online showroom for premium residential building solutions. We curate distinctive Signature Home building packages, coordinated multi-structure Signature Property Packages, backyard office solutions, and select complementary products for customers planning primary residences, guest accommodations, vacation properties, retreats, hospitality projects, and flexible backyard spaces.
Our role is to make a complex purchase easier to evaluate. We organize product information, starting prices, customization options, financing resources, and project requirements in one place, then move serious projects through a written quote process before an order is finalized.

Project Confidence & Transparency
- Written scope before purchase: High-value building projects move through a written Modern Retreat Buildings project quote before an order is finalized.
- Package vs. site work: We separate the building-package scope from foundation, utilities, permits, installation, local trades, and other site-specific work.
- Engineering and permit support: Applicable Signature Home packages identify included stamped structural engineering in the product information and final written quote. Additional project-specific construction drawings may also be available through an independent drawing provider.
- Warranty terms where applicable: The current written Signature Home warranty provides five-year coverage from the product ship date for defined covered defects, including missing hardware, through-splitting of wall logs, and components produced incorrectly for the building. - Independent project resources: Financing providers and contractor referrals are third parties with their own eligibility, agreements, pricing, licensing, warranties, and responsibilities.

How Projects Work
Modern Retreat Buildings Signature Homes are pre-cut/interlocking home building packages intended for assembly at the customer's project site. They are not sold as completed HUD-code manufactured homes or modular homes. Most Signature Property Package components are likewise building-package or shell-package products rather than completed turnkey construction. Unless expressly included in a final written quote, site preparation, foundation work, unloading, installation labor, utilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, permits, inspections, local fees, and finish work remain outside the base package.
Products and project services may involve independent manufacturers, carriers, lenders, installers, contractors, engineers, or other third-party providers. Modern Retreat Buildings coordinates the commercial project process where applicable but does not replace the licensed professionals or local authorities responsible for site-specific design, construction, permitting, inspections, or code compliance.
Plan Before You Commit
Before finalizing a project, customers should confirm property zoning, setbacks, intended-use rules, foundation requirements, wind and snow loads, utility needs, delivery access, permitting, installation resources, and other local requirements. For short-term-rental or ADU use, confirm the property's specific occupancy and local-use rules before purchase.
