Modern Retreat Buildings
Contractor & Builder Resources
Modern Retreat Buildings works with independent contractors, builders, erectors, concrete professionals, and project teams that need reliable building-package information, clear scope boundaries, and a straightforward path from customer concept to supplier-reviewed quote.
MRB coordinates the building-package quote, supplier questions, project documentation, delivery planning, and written scope so the field team has a clearer starting point.
Contractor opportunities may involve Signature Homes, steel buildings, Hybrid projects, Cellar & Vine structures, cabinetry, and compatible project add-ons.
There is no requirement to stock MRB building packages for project work. Materials and configurations are reviewed against the specific customer project.
Supplier/building-package responsibilities are separated from site work, foundations, erection, permitting, utilities, MEP, finishes, and other locally performed construction services unless the written project scope says otherwise.
What MRB can provide
- Project-specific building-package configuration and written quoting.
- Plans, specifications, opening information, and engineering documentation where included or confirmed for the applicable package.
- Supplier clarification when field questions affect the building package.
- Delivery planning and project-specific freight / access review.
- A defined customer-approved scope before an order is finalized.
What the independent contractor typically handles
Depending on the project and written agreement, local contractor responsibilities may include site preparation, foundation work, erection or assembly, local permitting coordination, utilities, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing or exterior completion, interior buildout, accessibility or fire/life-safety work, and other field services.
Important: Modern Retreat Buildings does not employ or control independent contractors. Customers select, contract with, schedule, and pay the contractor they choose unless a final written MRB project agreement expressly states otherwise.
